Property Inspection Professionals offers certified home inspection services to areas of Southeast Florida, adhering to ASHI’s rigid Standards of Practice. Our inspections are generally conducted by two inspectors, ensuring that each client is provided with a consistent and accurate assessment of a home’s condition.

General Home Inspection

Our buyer’s inspection is a non-invasive visual assessment of any residential property. We’ll examine most readily accessible areas of the home to determine if there are any damaged or defective components, taking the time to scope out any indications of imminent or recurring issues.

Inspected areas include:

  • Roofing System (including gutters & downspouts)
  • Structural Components
  • Exterior (soffits, fascias, doors, windows, siding)
  • Foundation & Crawl Space
  • Driveway & Walkways
  • Deck
  • Attic, Insulation, & Ventilation
  • Attached Garage
  • Interior (doors, windows, floors, walls, ceilings, stairs)
  • Plumbing System
  • Heating & Cooling Systems
  • Electrical System
  • Built-in Appliances

We offer several additional services:

Commercial Property Inspection

Our inspections aren’t limited to solely residential properties. If you’re a current or prospective business owner—or an investor—we’re able to provide you with a comprehensive inspection of any commercial property. We’ll carefully evaluate the condition of structural components and any installed systems so that you have an accurate perspective of the property before deciding whether or not to follow through with an investment.

Pre-Listing Inspection

If you’re making arrangements to sell a home, we recommend having the property professionally inspected before you begin the process. A Pre-Listing Inspection is helpful for several important reasons: it will give you a better idea of the home’s value, an opportunity to resolve issues that could detract from the home’s perceived quality, and it will facilitate an all-around smoother negotiating process with the buyer.

New Construction Inspection

Before the builder takes you on their final walkthrough, you should consider contacting a third-party home inspector to evaluate the condition of your new home. While builders are certainly skilled professionals, it’s important to have a second unbiased opinion before the project draws to a close. We’ll evaluate the new home for any safety issues or defective components that need to be addressed before it’s time to start moving in.

Wind Mitigation Inspection

Wind Mitigation Inspection

Though sunshine is abundant in the state of Florida, it’s still essential for a home to be protected from the elements. A Wind Mitigation Inspection will identify the implements that are in place to protect a property from wind damage—as well as recommend additional measures that should be taken. When a property is adequately protected from inclement weather, insurers will usually offer significant financial credits to homeowners.

4-Point Inspection

Some insurance agencies may require a 4-Point Inspection before they’re willing to offer you coverage. This is most often the case for clients seeking to purchase an older home. Our inspection makes sure that the home in question complies with the minimum property standards listed by your insurer. Four main areas are evaluated: the HVAC systems, the roof, electrical system, and plumbing system.

We offer Re-Inspections for clients who have had us perform a home inspection that led to the discovery of defective components or dysfunctional systems. We’ll return to the property once repairs are in place to ensure that they were performed correctly and safely, and to check for any additional or ongoing issues.

WDO/Termite Inspection

Termite damage is costly, often unsightly, and detrimental to the integrity of a home. We offer a professional inspection that will evaluate a property for damage caused by termites and other wood-destroying organisms. Awareness of previous and ongoing infestations is vital for prospective homebuyers before agreeing to terms with a seller.

One Year Anniversary Inspection

You never know what can crop up during your first year in your new home. Fortunately, most homes are covered by a one-year warranty. Contact PIP Inspections in advance of your first anniversary to inspect your home so that we can determine whether there are any defects or safety issues that need to be addressed before your warranty expires.

A viable investment is contingent on your awareness of a home’s condition.

Property Inspection Professionals strives to propel you toward a great decision by keeping you informed.
